Description
VALUE VDG-S1 is a digital single manifold gauge designed for work with vacuum and refrigeration systems. It combines the function of a traditional manifold gauge, temperature detector and refrigerant measuring instrument. This makes it suitable for service technicians who need to measure pressure, vacuum and work with settings for a specific refrigerant during refrigeration circuit maintenance or repair.
The device supports pressure display in bar, psi, kPa, MPa and kgf/cm². Temperature can be displayed in °C or °F and vacuum in inHg. The relative pressure measuring range is 0–50 bar, 0–725 psi, 0–5000 kPa, 0–5 MPa or 0–51 kgf/cm². The vacuum range is -29.9 to 0 inHg.
The manifold gauge is equipped with a built-in pressure sensor, backlit LCD display, foldable hook for hanging and a sight glass for monitoring refrigerant flow. Two 1/4" SAE connection points allow hoses to be connected to the refrigeration circuit, service equipment or refrigerant cylinder according to the specific service setup.
VALUE VDG-S1 is suitable for use with a wide range of common refrigerants, including R22, R32, R134A, R290, R404A, R407C, R410A, R448A, R449A, R452A, R454B, R507A, R513A, R600A and other listed media. It is not suitable for ammonia R717 or ammonia-based refrigerants. The manufacturer also states that the device is not intended for environments requiring explosion protection.
Power is supplied by one 9V LR alkaline battery with a battery life of at least 20 hours. The device has a refresh frequency and response time of 1 second. The housing is made of ABS, PC and TPE materials. The dimensions are 93 × 216 × 47 mm and the weight is approximately 395 g without battery.
